Basketball Season 2012-2013

Boys and girls in 4th-8th grade on the MMS Basketball teams will once again compete in the Beulah Brinton Community Center (2555 S. Bay Street in Milwaukee, 53207) league, which starts on Saturday, December 1st and is a 14-week season ending Saturday, March 2nd.

Team information is as follows:

7th/8th Grade Team

• Practices will take place every Tuesday and Friday in the St. Therese Gym from 3:15-5:15pm starting Tuesday, November 13th and ending Friday, March 1st.
• The 7th/8th grade team will also play additional tournaments; however, these tournament games are limited to single sex teams.
• Games played at Beulah Brinton will take place on Saturdays between 4:00pm and 8:00pm.
• The team will be coached by Travis Mather.

5th/6th Grade Team

• Practices will take place at MMS every Monday and Wednesday from 3:15-5:15pm in the St. Therese Gym starting Monday, November 12th and ending Wednesday, February 27th.
• Games played at Beulah Brinton will take place on Saturdays between 12:00pm and 3:00pm.
• The 5th/6th grade team will be coached by Roger Gonzalez.

4th Grade Team

• Practices will take place at MMS every Wednesday and Thursday from 3:15-5:15pm in the St. Therese Gym starting Wednesday, November 14th and ending Thursday, February 28th.
• Games played at Beulah Brinton will take place on Saturdays between 12:00pm and 3:00pm.
• The 4th grade team will be coached by Roger Gonzalez.

Pick-up Information:

Parents need to pick their children up from practices promptly between 5:15-5:30 on the MMS front porch. Children not picked up by 5:30pm will go to Jayhawks and all applicable fees will apply.

Athletic wear / Uniforms:

Students should wear appropriate athletic wear and shoes at all practices. All students must wear an MMS basketball uniform for games: red shorts and a numbered jersey. The cost of uniforms will be $38. If you only need a new jersey ($20) or a new pair of MMS shorts ($18), please fill that out when you register. All new players must purchase a uniform to play in games.

6th Grade Basketball, Coached by Roger Gonzalez

• 5th Place in the Beulah Brinton Community Center league with a 2-10 League Record

4th/5th Grade Basketball, Coached by Roger Gonzalez

• 3rd Place in the Beulah Brinton Community Center league with a 5-7 League Record
