Alyson Berg

Upper Elementary History and Science

Ms. Alyson Berg is no stranger to Upper Elementary, spending the last four years of her MMS career teaching your students History and Science. She earned her degree in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, complete with a minor in Chemistry, holding true to the Berg Family tradition! Her parents own a dog breeding business and her sister is an Astrophysics professor at the University of Texas.

In her younger years, Ms. Berg grew up in Minnesota, where she developed a love for the outdoors and animals. She often helped her parents take care of their breeds of English and Irish setters. And when she wasn’t puppy-sitting, she was training for a competitive equestrian career. Her beloved horse is now retired and spends his days eating the most excellent grass and hay Minnesota has to offer. 

She’s known for many things, including her love for animals, every single type of candy, and an excuse to make a costume. Need to look like a fish or Greek Goddess by tomorrow? Ms. Berg’s got you covered.

Ms. Berg is so ready to get back in the classroom to see her students from last year and meet her new students!
