Laurie Asch has been teaching piano and voice at Milwaukee Montessori School since 2012!


She received her Bachelor’s Degree in music education from St. Olaf College with a triple emphasis on piano, voice, and violin and her master’s degree in Music Education is from UW-Madison.


Mrs. Asch is currently directing orchestras for grades 5-8 at Bayside Middle School and in Fox Point. She also teaches three violin ensemble classes at Tamarack Waldorf School in Milwaukee and performs in the Festival City Symphony, noted for its educational concerts.


She also performs regularly in string trios or quartets at weddings! She sang in Master Singers, and accompanied numerous recitals as a pianist. Laurie has taught many facets of music in various school systems including elementary music, orchestra, world drumming, choir, and piano,  and enjoys traveling to and performing music in many parts of the world including Austria, India, Mexico, and Tanzania. Laurie is married and has three grown children.
