Rogelio Gonzalez (aka Roger) joined the MMS faculty in 2002 as a childcare teacher. Since then, he has served in many roles at the school: teaching assistant, coach, mentor, photographer, and videographer. He has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science from the Milwaukee Area Technical College and takes courses in Time-Based Media from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design to support his creation of digital marketing materials for the school.

Rogers true passion is in supporting individual and community health and he has a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Wellness Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is a proud veteran of the United States Military, having served on peacekeeping missions in Egypt and Israel where he earned an army commendation medal and medals for good conduct and achievement. The discipline, loyalty, and perseverance he learned from his time in military service are values that guide his work with the youth at MMS. When he is not working, he enjoys playing basketball and football, working on his photography, reading, and camping.
