Shabnam Shergill

Montessori Directress, Shabnam Shergill, was raised in Chandigarh, India, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degrees in Education and World History and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Punjab University. She taught at the high school level in India for fourteen years, and moved to the United States in 2000. She joined the MMS faculty in 2001 as a Toddler Teacher and then a Lower Elementary Montessori Teacher, after earning her Montessori Teaching Certification from Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center in Evanston, Illinois. Outside of school, Shabnam enjoys traveling, cooking for friends and family, and handwork such as knitting and embroidery.
