Elizabeth Henke graduated from Milwaukee Montessori School in 1997. After attending Pius XI for high school, Elizabeth received a triple major in Peace and Peacemaking, Studio Art, and Education from St. Olaf College. Additionally, Elizabeth obtained her Masters in Peace Education from the U.N. mandated University for Peace as well as several different certificates in educational leadership, arts education, and Montessori teaching. Elizabeth takes pride in her Montessori-filled life and continues to advocate for "peace work inherent in Montessori classrooms" to prepare adolescents for "positive participation in society". Elizabeth is now a proud mother of three Montessori children and is celebrating life in Washington DC.
