Ben Riggs

Ben Riggs is a teacher, writer, and raconteur who has spent many years teaching in America, Egypt, Japan, and China. A lover of the humanities, he studied English and history at Boston University with an eye on becoming an educator. He furthered his studies at Alverno College, receiving a Masters of Education in 2011. In addition to teaching, Mr. Riggs had a brief stint in Hollywood working on Cities of the Underworld for the History Channel and is a published author. He is still a passionate advocate of the humanities in the classroom. His students have won multiple Scholastic Golden Key Awards and have had their work published in The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
