Milwaukee Montessori School

Cheryl Kelly has been the Director of Admission at Milwaukee Montessori School since June, 2000. Cheryl has lived in the Milwaukee area her entire life and knows how difficult it can be for parents to choose the right school for their growing children. She enjoys helping parents work through the process and looks forward to answering questions about the MMS experience and independent schools in general. Cheryl regularly participates on Accreditation Teams for ISACS (Independent Schools Association of the Central States) to help guide and evaluate other private schools through the 7-year accreditation process. The thing she loves the most is just day to day life here at school – watching the toddlers run through the sprinkler, listening to a 4 year old read their first book, watching a 4th grader race drones, and listening to graduation speeches and remembering when that young adult came in many years ago for their toddler visit.

All of Cheryl’s four children, now adults, have attended MMS, starting in the Toddler or Children’s House Program. They are interesting and kind adults who contribute every day to the well-being of our community – and they’re just fun! Every day, she and her husband are thankful they found MMS years ago for their family, and she can’t wait until her grandson is an MMS student!
