Jess Wichman

Ms. Jess has a true passion for caring for others and takes immense pleasure in supporting children's development. With her Associate in Childcare and a BA in English and Creative Writing, as well as seven years of experience teaching English as a Second Language, she has a proven track record of helping children of all ages enhance their language skills. Her love for language and literacy is evident in her published stories in the UWM Literacy Journal.

In the past, Ms. Jess has led after-school science and space clubs and STEM classes. She integrates STEM principles into her work with MMS toddlers, empowering our youngest students to stay curious and learn new skills through trial and error.

As a teacher, Ms. Jess prioritizes children's independence and encourages them to explore their creativity through open-ended artistic and creative activities. She is passionate about student learning and is dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential. She observes each child as they put new skills together and master them through practice, which brings her immense joy.
