Julie Christensen

Julie Christensen is the director of Co-Curricular Programs at MMS. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 1997 at the University of Wisconsin-La-Crosse. She started as the Physical Education teacher in the fall of 1997 and continued to teach in the position for 11 years. During this time, she created Milwaukee Montessori’s after school sports programs, including basketball, volleyball, and track and field. She continues to coach Track and Field and Volleyball to this day.

Julie and her husband, Rob, have two sons and they all enjoy cheering on Wisconsin sports teams, watching movies, and spending time with  family and friends. In her spare time, she also volunteers for COTA, which is the Children’s Organ Transplant Association.
