Ms. Leslie is a calm and nurturing early childhood educator with sixteen years of experience working with children from as young as eight months to early elementary age. She earned her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Waukesha County Technical College in 2009 and worked in nature-based schools before joining Milwaukee Montessori School in 2024.

Ms. Leslie finds daily joy in the boundless curiosity and enthusiasm of toddlers. Whether watching them light up during a song or break into spontaneous dance, she treasures their sense of wonder and growing kindness as they learn to care for one another. Known for her patient and thoughtful approach, Ms. Leslie creates a secure, predictable environment where children feel empowered to explore and grow. Guided by her mantra, “You can do hard things,” she fosters confidence and helps young learners develop essential skills with calmness and encouragement.

Outside of work, Ms. Leslie enjoys nature walks, live music, cooking, baking, and relaxing with her dog Winston. She also loves reading and spending time with her family.
