Madeleine Craig

Madeleine Craig started at Milwaukee Montessori in February of 2022. She returned in April of 2023 after a six-month stint in the United Kingdom, where she studied acting at Rose Bruford College. Madeleine is from West Bend and attended Ripon College. She graduated in May 2020 with three Bachelor's degrees in English, History, and Theatre. 

Madeleine has a very musical family and, as such, has spent twenty years studying classical piano and is proficient in several other instruments, including the trombone. She has a background in choral work and has spent time studying voice with short programs at Rose Bruford College and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Madeleine currently does theatre in the Milwaukee area and enjoys bringing the storytelling aspect of her artistic work to the classroom at MMS. Madeleine is excited to work in a school where she can encourage students to grow creatively and academically. 

Madeleine enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and playing music outside of work. She is an amateur artist and semi-professional actor; when not onstage, she loves to create and run campaigns for the popular TTRPG Dungeons and Dragons. Madeleine is an avid fan of animation, classic literature, and many different types of video games. In the future, she hopes to pursue an MFA to continue teaching the arts at every age level.
