Micha Johnson

Micha Johnson teaches Junior High Science with a focus on chemistry and laboratory experiments. For the past five years, Micha was at STEM Middle Academy in Springfield, MA, where she taught 6th-8th grade Earth, Space, Life, and Physical Sciences. There, she was also named the Science Department Chairperson and a member of the Instructional Leadership Team. Previous to STEM, Micha taught for five years at Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, teaching Biology and Environmental Sciences to 9-12th graders.

Micha is from Cushing, Oklahoma, where she spent her entire childhood and graduated from Cushing High School in 2003. In 2008, she earned her undergraduate degree from University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. In 2017, Micha earned her Master’s Degree from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut in Teacher Leadership with a focus in Literacy.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children, and dogs. She is a big college football fan (Oklahoma State… Go Pokes!) and enjoys attending hockey and basketball games.
